For your reference, a schedule of events for 2017, is listed below. As always, all events are free and are at the Deposit Historical Society Museum.
Check back here from time to time for updates or changes.

Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at 6:00 PM.  The Deposit Historical Society will hold its Annual Meeting at the museum.  Following the meeting, Judith Present will present "The President's Wives".  Refreshments will be served.

Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at 7:30 P.M.  John Goodnough will present "Railroads of the Civil War".  Refreshments will be served.

Saturday, May 20, 2017, 9 A.M. to 3 P,M, - "Olde Tyme Craft Fair" featuring vendors, food concession and music by "The West Branch Ramblers" 11 A.M. to  1 P.M.

Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at 7:30 P.M. - Vicky House, Oxford Village and Town Historian, will present, "What Will Poor Betsy Do?" (A Story of the Oxford Veterans' Home). Refreshments will be served.

Saturday, July 15, 2017 - Lumberjack Festival.  DHS Booth on Front Street, featuring a general bake sale and sale items from our Museum Store.  Refreshments will be served.

Wednesday, July 19, 2017, 7:30 P.M. - Aksel Pedersen, local artist and Civil War enthusiast, will present, "Conrad Wise Chapman, Artist of the Confederacy".  Refreshments will be served.

Wednesday, August 16, 2017, 7:30 P.M. - Michael Keene, noted author, will present, "The Psychic Highway: How the Erie Canal Changed America".  Refreshments will be served.

Wednesday, September 20, 2017, 7:30 P.M. - George Cummings, noted historian, will present, "Part II - The French & Indian War".  Refreshments will be served.

Sunday, October 8, 2017 - Oktoberfest.  DHS Booth on Front Street featuring sale items from the Museum Store.

Wednesday, October 18, 2017, 7:30 P.M. - John Darrow, noted impersonator, presentation topic to be announced.  Refreshments will be served.

Friday, November 10, 2017, 7 P.M. - High End Auction.  Preview and Refreshments 6 P.M. to 7 P.M. Auction to begin at 7 P.M. with Richard "Smitty" Axtell, auctioneer.
